  • Intake Manifold-Worthwhile???

    http://abdracingwerks.com/Merchant2/...ode=70.INTM.1S

They quote a 12-20+ horsepower increase with 14-22 ft.lbs of torque

    Worthwhile and will it fit??

Opinions please Jimmy, Gavin or Guy?

    Thanks

I dont' see why it wouldn't be road legal, forcing in more air! Just make sure you change your fueling to compisate it.

I heard sometimes manifold swaps can result in more HP but less torque..

Id love to see a dyno sheet for stock car and then a modded car..

          Watch the torque curve..

I dont understand how it "forces" more air in ? The boost should remain the same it only changes the amount being stored in the plenum and the way its delivered . Fueling will adjust to suit the new mod anyway , they run motronic ecu's .

Exactly right , you'll find the gains they are quoting are probably for a 1.8t with a gt30 or something where increased plenum size will benefit the engine .
