Ladies and Gents (likely based in Sydney, but would be happy to see those from near and far), there is a track day planned at Wakefield Park for the 14th of August.

    Details available here:

It would be nice to see some Sydney Pogs there, but would mean taking the day off, so here is your early notice

I'm trying to get the day off, hope to see some of you there.

Just posted, I'm seriously considering it. Would be nice to not be the only Polo going round for a change

I'd be there like a duck to water if it wasn't a 2000km round trip.

      Enjoy

I'm 90% coming, just working out the fine details (rear sway bar, -.5% camber, drop links, suspension arm bushes).

Guess I could come if they don't get done, I need the practice less than the tenths off the lap times

I'm also interested in going too. Just need to find a couple of suspension bits and pieces

I'll be there with the yellow Polo - will be good to meet some other owners as there aren't too many Polo GTIs running around Canberra.

If we can get a few of us together, might be best to try and hook up the night before down there or most of the way there. Few hours driving before a track day is going to be awful draining...

All you guys that are thinking about coming, have you contacted matt (Swingn)? He's starting to finalize everything and I'd hate for people to miss out.
                        Cheers,

                        John

That's a shame. It would have been good to see if you could have bettered your time around the track. Hopefully you can make it if another day is organized later down the track.
                            Cheers,

                              Hi All!

As John has pointed out, it's starting to get to crunch time

I endeavour to keep info up to date in the thread in the gatherings section, so keep an eye out

At this point in time, I will need to receive funds / confirmation no later then Friday 7th August. The main reason for this is that should we have 20 cars or more, an ambulance will be required (Wakefield requires at least 1 week notice to organise this).

If you have any questions or queries regarding the track day, please feel free to PM me.

                              Cheers
                              Matt
