My car was loud with the stock exhaust. My car had no resonator from the factory. apparently the stock cat acts as aresonator..

when I changed to the APR dump pipe and metal cat, it went better but had strange resonance on the system. Still has a bit.

I changed the rest of the exhaust which didnt kill off the resonance but gave it a better tone than stock as well as more power as well, quicker spool up in my opinion with full exhaust.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, i got the apr down pipe and i dont have any resonance at all! Mine is manufactured recently, might be just patrina's batch have this issue?

Also, heard Lora's miltek dp, it sounds different to the apr one, it has a higher pitch than the apr one! Also her car pulls harder than mine with similar mods... But it could due to the software, i dont have a tune for the dp, will find out later when i go back to get it reload with the dp software!

Its weird, I fitted the rest of the system after that and resonance gone? But with downpipe only and stock exhaust mine had some resonance.

just to add to old questions , did i hear correctly you still get a beefyer note with just the dp and stock exhaust? and i know this question has been flooged to death butttt..... i know geting the full exhaust offeres minimal gains over just getting the dp, but more specifically is there any benefits at all? no matter how minimal, for getting the full system done?
