I love that the 9n can easily be tweaked to 150ish kw.

Neither of these are a GTI, they are just 'upgraded' base model polo's.

they look very similar to fox wheels.. cheap tempe ones

One size bigger and they would look heeeeaps better....but i do agree at that size they look quite cheap.

As much as I'd like to say me too (and believe me, I really do) -- There's no way I could justify the price. Not to mention, it'll have the same engine as the new Polo GTI, so I'm sticking with the new Polo GTI. If it turns out to be as descent as it sounds, I might trade up early.

That thing looks crazy! If the new BMW 1 series is anything to go by, it will carry the prestige badge price.

damn straight. same/similar engines, with same ECU's, similar power outputs, features, fuel consumption, same euro emissions and safety standards met, but with the audi costing what- twice as much? only $20k more? get the vee dub anyday.

funny thing- my dad test drove both 2.0 tdi's- VW tiguan, and Audi q5. i was there for the vw test drive, and i spent an hour sussing out the audi with him at a dealership on another day.

same car, same engine, same outputs, same emissions, same fuel consumption, same safety rating, probably same siemens computer, but audi q5 was heavier and slower, and outclassed across the board by the Tiguan.

so why would i pay $23k more for the audi again? huh? just the name, and in this case, heavier slower bigger-on-the-outside-but-smaller-on-the-inside with atrocious clown sized wheel arches? but.......... im not dumb- why would i waste $23k just for that?


okay, i got abit carried away there and im not unaware of VW's audi familial aspects, but dammit man, you gotta keep it real, brother. gotta keep it real

Not to drain your very good VW post but the Audi Q5 is based on the new A4 underpinnings while Tiguan is Golf/Passat based.
