Purchasing A Polo Gti

Well on Saturday i am going to put my order in on a White Polo Gti (as long as all goes well). What i want to know is what do they end up trying to upsell you. ie. window tint, Paint protection etc etc. Whats on offer and what did you guys get. Im planning on getting window tint done afterwards and i am not getting paint protection but other than that i have no clue. This is the first new car i have ever bought.

How exciting for you Shaneth! Unless they want to throw things in for free then just tell them that you would like it stock. When you go in, ask some questions and then tell them its betwwen a peugout and the polo and see if they try to entice you with some extras. Don't just walk in and tell them that you want to place an order. Keep them guessing and make em work for their dollar! Cheers, Andrew

Thanks for that. The stealer thinks its between the polo, renault and colt ralliart. So i will walk out if i dont get the price i want and i know i can get that price as a friend used to work for the vw dealer im going to.

One last question. (sorry for all the questions). How much did you all pay for your polo if you dont mind me asking. Just so i have a rough idea of what to aim for when i go into negotiations tomorrow.

I think i paid 30ish on road with stamp duty rego all that jazz no optianal extras.

well finance will go through on monday and then ill find out definitely. I got it for 27000 including tint and a free tank of fuel . Not bad i think.

no didnt want anything else. will get rims elsewhere, dont want sunroof or leather and none of the protection rubbish for paint etc.
