Hi guys,

I just shot some footage/interview of a brand new chipped Polo GTI. Thought some of you guys might be interested...

Pushing out over 150 kw with a single chip upgrade. Looks and sounds great.

Steve does cut quite a unique profile doesn't he...They don't call him "Cronk" for nothing.

Mike was lucky enough to pick the rims up second hand, not sure of price. I think he mentioned new they were more than $5,000 landed, although I might be mistaken...I'll find out and get back.

I'm afraid time got the best of us here. I would have liked to have shot a lot more of the car, but we ran out of daylight...sorry.

Just getting back in regards to the Oettinger rims. Mike said the following:

"$6500.00

You can't get 5 x 100 stud pattern anymore.

only 5 x 112"

As mentioned, he was lucky enough to pick these up second hand.

I'm not sure if they are still available or not.

Last time we imported them (2 years ago) they were ~ $800 per rim.

Ash did well - they happened to be sitting in my tyre rack for some time

What offset are the rims to be able to fit 17 x 8 without scrubbing?

Those ones were 35mm offset - fit perfectly - no spacers, running 205 tyres
