  • Damn screwdriver!

Yesterday i was working on the car and i accidently dropped my screwdriver in the engine bay and cannot find it!

I tried putting my hands under the underbody plastic thing to see if i can scoop it out, but its not there.. as i was running late for work i made sure it wasn't caught in the fans so i could drive it

I'm pretty sure it would've have fallen out as i couldn't hear it rattling on something but for a peace of mind are there any major parts i should worry about situated on the drivers side part of the engine bay - where the screwdriver would have fallen onto and possibly cause more damage?

    Thanks!

Just remove the plastic under the engine and I'm sure you will find it. Depending on how big it is and where you were working, it could be in the plastic radiator casing. I dropped a screw in there once, so got a magnet on the end of a wire to retrieve it.
