  • wierd nocking noise???!!

i have a problem and wondered if anyone else had any ideas what it could be as im stumped!

when i engage or disengage the clutch in 1st and second i get a knock or if i back of the throttle in 1st or second or reverse?? i can sometimes get it to do it in other gears but i really have to try to jerk it etc?? never does it over bumps or if im in neutral?? Im thinking its either gbox, drive shafts or engine mounts?? tbh i think its a drive shaft but its weird how only low gears are the worst?? plz help as warranty gone its modded to death lol

I use to get this went away once I got APR engine mount could well be the engine mount.

if it's an engine mount, would you be able to induce the knock when in neutral and gunning the throttle?? (i'm not sure myself)

I'd say something to do with engine/gearbox mounts too.

      Dog leg required??

Dogbone pendulum mount by the sounds fella, i would be checking the main gearbox mount under the airbox, as these were known to snap on MK4s, could be the start of the Pogs. Worth a look
