Theres this place in guildford and the rims they get arnt drilled yet.. so it doesnt matter if i choose ones that are 4 or 5 studded!
But my mums got a saab and she had 15s on it and she put 17s and i HATE driving her car i hate hate hate hate hate it! Its SO bumpy you can feel the road and its just uncomfortable to drive... If i put 17s on my car is that going to happen to it!?Comment

I disagree 110% with the above.
The PGTi should have come with 17s, VW cut costs and gave us 16s.
I personally hate 16s.
17" is minimum for a Polo. MK1 might be different but I had 17s on my old Citi, 17" replica phat fives to be exact.
The PGti Cup has 17s, the Ibiza has 17s, the Polo Cross comes with 17s.
It wont look like an SUV

its all a matter of opinion (obviously).
i personally think, at the right height, the pog will look very good with either 15's or 16's. it is also my personal opinion that, whilst there are many pogs out there with 17's that look good, that is the upper limit.
but then, trends change. see these:
"oh wow, those cars look really really nice- they could even go a few inches larger, for even better looks!".
many people would actually say that the cars above look elegant, classy, and that the wheels really compliment the car. they're called Lygon Schtroit Marios.
