oops. my oversight- if they DO run the same engine as in the gt golf, that will be a spanker. especially chipped.
naughty, with seat leon cupra parts- are not many of those interchangeable with vw parts? i doubt vw will be leaving the domestic market anytime soon in australia (jesus, there are more golfs here now than corollas and camrys), and given that im a vw fanboy, that should leave me in the ok...
as for car companies being more daring- i've said it many times and i'll say it again, why oh why do "hot hatches" or "hatches" for that matter have to get bigger and bigger?!$?#@!$?!@#$?@$?!?????
god forbid VW goes the way of peugeot with their nose design- soon the "tiny polo" will have 1m of bodywork infront of the front wheels, crumple zones for pedestrians as though all of us polo drives are routinely driving around smacking into people in the effort to increase their safety....
i pray vw doesnt make the front of their cars like this:
hence why imma hold onto my polo for as long as i can. no doubt when i am in the market for a big diesel car, say 10 years from now, i wont be looking towards my beloved land rover discovery- i'll just get another polo. it'll probably be similar in size to the current discovery anyway.
