    The benefit of buying plates that other people would want is that you can sell them for a good price - either equal or as close to original cost as possible.

    I sold my first set for $5 less than I paid for them - they were 16GSR off a 1.6L Lancer GSR.

    I imagine the current plates I have would be popular enough to at least re-coup what I paid, if not make money.

        Oops, just realised that the only problem with that idea was, you can only use such combinations once. Cause once its taken its gone.

          here in the uk we can only choose what available for sale from the dvla in either AB12 ABC or A12 ABC as an example

            i can only agree, the thaught did cross my minde, but not for that price. i can think of manything id rather spend that money on,.........but thats just me.
