      All,

As another thing that might be causing the knocking, I am getting my factory links + bushes replaced under warrenty next week due to 'excessive wear'... My car bangs and crashes terribly at the front end

By bang and crashes you mean you hitting the bump stops when you go over bumps and pot holes?

Am not sure why, specifically, you need Ford Mondeo links As I mentioned in my earlier post in this thread, I had the LH 'knocking' noise, and the suspension guy who fitted my Eibachs and Konis just fitted some drop links he had ex-stock.

Specifically, do you know what brand of vehicle, or even what make of drop link they are? They may have a brand/part number stamped on them.

Sorry, no I don't...and don't have the car any longer to check...but Peter at Capital Suspension here in Canberra just grabbed them from his parts shelf, so I would suggest they are a fairly common item.

Can you post up a link...Maybe they have a part number so that I can find them an alternate way.

I ordered mine and have it shipped to Kuala Lumpur, so I doubt they don't want to ship to Aussie bro

Back to the drop links, I suppose the Mondeo's are slightly shorter and thicker than stock.... ?

Not bumps stops as I have stock suspension... The links to the swaybar have become loose causing the whole front end to feel disconnected from the car and produce lound banging over pot holes, bumps in the road etc. at anything over 15km/h.

JMac has corrected this once by tightning, but the problem appears worst than first thought

so the previous model mondeo drop links would work, from a ford dealer?
