can i ask why?,.....my reasons are that i just want to enjoy the car for what it is first, and 2 my last car was a daewoo (awaits the flaming) and it drove handled and eccelrated like a 16 gear fully laden truck, in short this car is a lot quicker and alot flightyer then my last beast, i need to get accustomed to driving prestine,...............its a long long way from my deawoo driving,.....erghhh daewoo ,.......the horror!!!!!

        not chipped

I have to say that I am currently run a non chipped car

I was thinking that I would sort everything else first and go for the big gain last.

        But I am tempted

But it's the best bang for buck mod, why on earth wouldn't it be your first mod as well?

Don't get too many 2-door Pog GTIs over in NZ ... I suspect it's been imported from Aus. Maybe it was Mitch's car ... but I seem to recall that as black and had no sunroof.

i have to admit that would be an awsome surprise, buying a car already chipped

                  Hi guys,

I am actually based in Melbourne now (as of 2 weeks ago) so the car is a 'local.' I phoned volkspower and they confirmed that it wasn't chipped

                  Cheers

                    Mine was chipped day 1...

With respect to mods... Chip is a must first mod.. When I mod a car, I put all the mods in bang for buck order and go that way (assuming no one mod is a prerequisite for another).

If you only ever do one mod...make it chipped.
