Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • New South Performance Gauge Panel

Hi guys, I was wondering if this triple gauge panel for the MK4 Golf will fit our Polo's??? I am interested in the panel only!

It seems like it would fit. Obviously you would need to do a single din conversion for your head unit. As long as the plate is a single din size then anything would fit in. There are a few options on ebay that may work out a bit cheaper than this one.
    Cheers,

    John

Good idea, are these a generic fit as long as they are single Din?

Be careful cause Japanese Single Din is slightly smaller than Euro single din (hence why head units come with surrounds and different mounting options). Mostly you should be ok but there may be some slight modding to get them to fit.
