That's an awesome price. What size is that in 17x?
    Cheers,

it doesn't say, i will e-mail them tonight and find out all the details. if they are a +45 offset, wouldn't i just be able to run 10mm spacers to sort out the brake clearance issues??

As far as the poll goes ... the admin / mod consensus is "Too hard ... delete and start again."

The issue is that most places sell 5x100's to suit WRX's. If you want to fit these on the Polo you would need to hit the center with a grinder cause it's physically too small. It was the same in a previous thread, Teleb tyres were selling Ultraleggera's for $2300 inc tyres but these were for subaru fitment. To order VW fitment was around $2800 and was a 6 week order!!!!

Also confirm with your insurance about spacers. Some companies won't even consider covering you if you use them.
            Cheers,

            John

I reckon it's pretty hard to go past some of the OEM wheel's.

They just clean & simple. They can also be found pretty cheap too.

They're heavy I know, but there strong as hell & can take an absolute beating.

                I've got two favorites.

One are the Bora sport wheel's. They look good on just about anything.

The other is the TT rims

i just think the OEM wheels are TOO plain and simple... to the point of being boring.

on my car they'd just look out of place and 'unfinished', so to speak.

That's where personal preference comes down it I suppose.

You have make your car look the way you want it to.

Rob's GTI has the same paint scheme as your's & I don't reckon it look's unfinished.

                    But's that's me.

I'd bang the Bora rim's on. You can't go wrong with silver on silver, plus they're dead set easy to clean & we all know how bad the brake dust is on VW's!

Out of those two, the 5ZR's.

Still prefer the OEM look personally.

ok guys, the specs on the wheels.

                        Heidfelds - 17x7, ET+42

                        5ZR Copse - 17x7.5, ET+35

for those who didn't know (like myself until 3 minutes ago), the brand is pronounced "Go-zee-gen". ha, looks like a FIVE to me! i always said "five-zai-gen"

I think "go" in the name is referring to the the Japanese number "5".
