I was looking into wheels again.. well still looking and i came across fat ones.. will 17 x 7.5 or 8 fit ?

I think it pretty much depends on the width of tyre as well. I have seen Polo wheels 8" across but it will depend on what tyre size you go with that. I could be wrong but I think the general consensus is that you'd fit 215s on a 7.5" and 225's on an 8" wheel. But its been mentioned before that both these combos may cause a little rubbing. better off putting 7.5"
wider tread/rubber DOES NOT always mean better traction/grip. you need to calculate the weight of the car,size of the rims,etc... or else you could easily aquaplane on the road over a puddle.Comment
