Been sick like a dog for the past several days but gotta get my butt to Volkspower today to place a deposit on the downpipe. Been thinking about it for a while but I suppose better to get it now whilst its on special. Hope i can feel some difference in power. So far I'm loving the dog bone mount. Definately feels better with not much more vibration than stock. But then again, haven't started up the car when its completely cold.

Just ordered and paid for the polo down pipe today. Now just a matter of waiting for it arrive and getting it installed. Cheers and thanks again Guy.

I can't comment on what the APR system is like in comparison but the Milltek definately doesn't seem to throw any warning lights on the dash at least. But all seems to be working extremely well. There were a few minor installation such as the exhaust rattling but after that was sorted out there aren't any probs.

The APR downpipe/ HIGH FLOW cat needs ECU reflash due to it being HIGH FLOW!! The O2 sensor post cat logs a code because its outside its parameters. Maybe the reason the Miltec doesn't is because the flow isn't as good??

Forgot that I got the Exhast code added when I got the car tuned...May as well get dad to make another trip down to Autotech to get the APR Dump Pipe in a few weeks then.

I asked Guy about the exhaust modification software but aparently, if you've got the APR V2 tune, then its already included in that tune so its just a matter of adding the dump pipe.

I have V2, plus the fully loaded ECU.

Yeah I was very tempted to opt for the fully loaded ECU but had a hard think about it and it wasn't going to be that useful for me compared to the downpipe so I decided to go the downpipe since I've been thinking about it for quite some time. Besides, apart from the suspension upgrade remaining, the downpipe would be a nice completion to the mechanicals for quite some time as I've already got the majority of typical mods done including V2 tune (was the first thing I did).
