Hi.Originally posted by GT3 View PostJust checked and an individual order for a full Milltek system is $2350 (not $2150), and it's $1,250 for an individual DP.
Does this include freight from uk to melbourne, and customs, or is customs extra on top of the $2350?

I've just had a full 2.5" turbo back Milltek exhaust fitted to me GTI and I couldn't be happier!
I must take my hat off for Neil, aka GT3, from Evolve Technik, for organizing and supplying the system for me and for the guys at 'Golfwagen' here in Perth & especially Joe for the superb service that they provided in doing the install. I seriously cannot recommend these guys enough!
As for the results; the sound the exhaust makes is top notch and really is what this car should sound like, ie a true sports car. The sound is a bonus because the peformance gains I think are somewhat supprising. There is a very noticable & significant power gain right through the rev range. There is heaps more torque and acceleration is just that much sharper and the whole result is that the car is significantly faster. It really feels like a very very quick car now.
I must point out that this is on top of an APR chip, a number of intake mods such as the SEAT intake, Forge TIP, APR R1 DV and K&N panel filter, matched with a Bilstein B8 suspension & H&R spring setup. The whole result is somewhat akin to a race car on the road. Its a very exciting ride indeed.
Anyway I couldn't be happier and I would thoroughly recommend this exhaust system 100% and to Neil for supplying and also Joe @ Golfwagen for the install.APR V2 Tuned, APR Dogbone mount, APR R1 DV, K&N Panel Filter, SEAT Intake, Forge TIP & FSB, Bilstein & H&R, Whiteline RSB, Full Milltek 2.5" exhaust

All up, supplied & installed for approx $2550. It aint cheap by any stretch of the imagination but it really is very much a high performance exhaust and I am more than happy with the results. I might like to add that Neil did give me a great price for the exhaust so the price itself was cheap but its not a cheap purchase if you know what I mean.Originally posted by noone View Postset u back much Mo?Last edited by mozzzy_2000; 27-06-2009, 07:39 PM.APR V2 Tuned, APR Dogbone mount, APR R1 DV, K&N Panel Filter, SEAT Intake, Forge TIP & FSB, Bilstein & H&R, Whiteline RSB, Full Milltek 2.5" exhaust

No worries bud! Actually I just took it for a pretty decent spin this afternoon and yeah the performance is sensational. It really feels like it needs a 6 speed gearbox now. It's so pokey over 100Kph but not only that you can sit comfortably in 5th gear at really low speeds too.APR V2 Tuned, APR Dogbone mount, APR R1 DV, K&N Panel Filter, SEAT Intake, Forge TIP & FSB, Bilstein & H&R, Whiteline RSB, Full Milltek 2.5" exhaust

Anybody able to comment on the differences between the full APR exhaust system and the Miltek one? Which is better? The APR one comes with and requires the APR tune update for it to ensure the engine check light doesn't come one. Does the Miltek cause this problem? Any differences in performance /power gains? Cheers. The modding bug has hit me AGAIN. ARGHHH!!! Its all your fault Mozzy!!! LOL

I can't comment on what the APR system is like in comparison but the Milltek definately doesn't seem to throw any warning lights on the dash at least. But all seems to be working extremely well. There were a few minor installation such as the exhaust rattling but after that was sorted out there aren't any probs.APR V2 Tuned, APR Dogbone mount, APR R1 DV, K&N Panel Filter, SEAT Intake, Forge TIP & FSB, Bilstein & H&R, Whiteline RSB, Full Milltek 2.5" exhaust
