What was the Dyno reading before the exhaust?Originally posted by GT3 View PostWe just ran a dyno with the new Milltek on the Polo GTI. Has evolve technik tune, Forge FMIC/TIP/DV and Seat intake/K&N filter. Hit 145kw atw/410nm. This is a drivable and smooth 145kw atw so happy with the outcome. We might package this combo as a kit.

If using a peak power kw/kw comparison, had 137 atw with custom exhaust prior to this run (2.5 DP, modified cat, high-flow muffler).Originally posted by JCM308 View PostWhat was the Dyno reading before the exhaust?
Trying to keep this thread on topic so those interested in the tunes can contact evolve technik for more info.

If you do decide to offer this as a complete kit please let us know. These seem to be pretty impressive figures and the exhaust sounds awesome.
P.S. Sorry if I seemed to go off topic. I was just wanting to do some research and comparison to other companies that advertise their prices on their websites as well as advise of places you can get the work done (as I'm on the phone all day for work I usually try to limit my personal conversations as much as possible. Would rather research online then call when I want to actually get the work done).

No probs John - an email would do the trickOriginally posted by JCM308 View PostI was just wanting to do some research and comparison to other companies that advertise their prices on their websites as well as advise of places you can get the work done (as I'm on the phone all day for work I usually try to limit my personal conversations as much as possible. . We're still trialing this tune (and package) so when all the info is ready we'll make it available, eg prices etc.

Awesome. Well I seem to be sold on the exhaust. Just wish I could afford it now. Hopefully when the kit is available I'll have more fundsOriginally posted by GT3 View PostNo probs John - an email would do the trick

GT3 how was JCM308 post off topicOriginally posted by GT3 View PostTrying to keep this thread on topic so those interested in the tunes can contact evolve technik for more info.
, This thread is about the Miltek exhaust system. You said you had a dyno run and got 145kw and JCM308 just wanted to know what sort of gains you got out of the system. And i dare say most people who are looking to get one whether thru you or not would like to know. All you had to do was just say you had a custom exhaust on and it on last dyno run and the new one doesnt really represent the true gains of the system................
my 2c worth
If i was splashing that sort of money around on an exhaust i would probably go APR as its got local support in most States.

Not that I am aware off. I don't think you would want it in anything less than stainless steel anyway would you?Originally posted by Chipped View PostDo Milltek do a less expensive non-stainless steel version?
I have heard you can get many years out of a mild steel version as long as your car does lots of km's....
According to their website it comes in as a DP/High flow sport cat; resonated & non-resonated cat-back system; and the middle/centre pipe. Obviously a full system you get all parts. But yeah I think its only available in aircraft grade SS which is one of its selling points.APR V2 Tuned, APR Dogbone mount, APR R1 DV, K&N Panel Filter, SEAT Intake, Forge TIP & FSB, Bilstein & H&R, Whiteline RSB, Full Milltek 2.5" exhaust

True but I don't think you really get a choice in most exhausts unless someone is doing a custom job for you. I don't think the APR is done in anything less than SS either but I guess it would be good if someone did give you the option. Like you say it could be cheaper.Originally posted by Chipped View PostMozz yeah but ya pay for stainless steel and yes certainly rust resistant a major benefit. It would be nice to have miild steel option. Doing heaps of km's water sitting in exhaust rusting it is not a major isssue for me.APR V2 Tuned, APR Dogbone mount, APR R1 DV, K&N Panel Filter, SEAT Intake, Forge TIP & FSB, Bilstein & H&R, Whiteline RSB, Full Milltek 2.5" exhaust
