Has the be a repairable write off, theres been at least 3 I have seen come through Pickles/Fowles that have been arse ended... Plus that and the suburb is a dead giveaway, I would never in my life by a car from a dealer in Guilford
Have to agree with you there George, only if you bought something worth significantly more than what you paid you could possibly break even and weather it, otherwise you just going to loose loads on it...Originally posted by VW Convert View PostReally? What makes you think that?

Always the same regardless of what car you have (unless its a real classic).....cars depreciate massively but think of the enjoyment you get from owning them.
I reckon 15k for a 2006 Polo GTI is pretty fair considering you can get a new one one for about 26-27k.1986 MkII Golf GTI 16V (Sold), 2005 MkV Golf GTI (Sold), 2007 Polo GTI (Sold), 2011 Polo 66TDI (Selling), 2012 Passat 125 TDI Bluemotion, 2013 Scirocco R (Due October!)

Is it a bit odd isn't it? The Polo in the pics has leather which is not mentioned in the Ebay listing. That rings my alarm bell for sure! I dare say the guy is selling a Polo but its not the one in the pics! I would never buy a vehicle on Ebay. I think you'ld be crazy to. I have been ripped off many times for a lot less. Ebay is not what it used to be thats for sure.Originally posted by ljemd2 View PostAPR V2 Tuned, APR Dogbone mount, APR R1 DV, K&N Panel Filter, SEAT Intake, Forge TIP & FSB, Bilstein & H&R, Whiteline RSB, Full Milltek 2.5" exhaust

Basically, just down to supply and demand. All other things being equal in the market, we have had a glut of new cars the last few years go onto the market. This has slowly driven down the price of the used cars. As new car sales dry up, and prices start to increase again, usually the used car values should follow upwards as well as there is less to choose from and more people are buying used cars. Also, the price of new cars have dropped quite a bit lately, some dealers are doing crazy dealers, and this forces used car prices down in the short term as well.Originally posted by VW Convert View PostReally?
