Hey all!
Well, the time is almost here. The new car is confirmed (looks like next week), so thought I would show my face around here. At first I was a little meh about it all, as it is just 'another' car for me. But now I am getting more into the whole thing!
A little background on me first (this might be long, sorry beer educated!)
I have had a too many cars along the way, my last two have been my vice, Subaru's..
2002>2004 - 1999 MY00 WRX
Stuff I did - The money pit, 2 x clutches, 2 x motors... Hyperflow FMIC kit (tooo much for a FMIC, think near $2.7k fitted), Apex Power FC, VF23 turbo, HKS Hyper exhaust, etc. 190kws atw with a slipping clutch with this one.
Then in 2004 I brought a new 2004 MY05 Subaru Forester XT Lux. Again, the mod bug bit quickly, but after the last car I learnt how to do this one right! At first it was just a full 3" exhaust and a tune by STI Docklands, but in the end after 4 years I ended up doing - bigger turbo, bigger top mount intercooler, bigger fuel pump, changed springs and struts, biggers wheels, wideband, Apexi AVC-R, bigger scoop, cold air intake, etc, etc. 110,000kms later with this car (~25,000kms fully modded) I thought it was time to move on and try saving a little money!!
The old beast I miss!

So now I am awaiting a new ( 08 ) Polo GTI. I would love to go semi nuts on it like I did with the Subaru's, but for starters damn Euro's are too exxy to mod! But, yeah I am being a good boy (husband, father, etc) with this one and only minor mods as I go. Maybe.
APR reflash is a given and have built it into the price!
