Forget TIP Install - Help!

I found that mine was virtually impossible to fit until I took that black coolant pipe bolt completely out. However be warned that its tricky getting it back into the bracket!

I tried several approaches, the most effective was removing the bolt of the coolant line with someone under the car guiding the TIP to the turbo. Putting the bolt back in place wasn’t easy too.

Patience, lots of patience.. and some bad words!

To Plautos...Try wiping some soapy water or liquid soap around the inner surface of the TIP Flange where it meets the Turbo. This helped me greatly. Also, swearing at it loudly, and threatening violence against it will get it in.[/QUOTE]

ahhahahahaha Yes! The swearing and violence part were key tools! They help me a lot!!
