Squeaky drivers side window?

Hey guys, anyone else getting a squeaking drivers side window when rolling it up/down? I think it could be the melbourne heat, but strangely i dont get it on the passenger side. It's a high pitched squeaking, almost screeching sound

Yeah, i get it occasionally when it isn't hot...I have had it since I did the gloss B Pillars, so I think its my fault...it is happening less and less now.

Tends to happen when the windows are dirty for me.. wash fixes it

Clean the window and rub some talcum powder on it, that works wonders for the squeeks. Puff some graphite powder into the bailey channels too

oh man I thought it was only me, comes and goes generally happens when the window is dirty.

mine started doing it (only only on drivers side) in the heat AFTER i installed the gloss pillars and got my window replaced... so Ryan, i thing i may be in the same boat as you re: pillars. Mine is only a quick chirp as it pulls away from the top frame and then all is good. I always thought it could be a small shard of glass in the frame..

I think our issue may be Rhys that th I pulled my window trim out a little too far, and it hasn't bedded in properly when I have replaced it...It dose it alot less since I had my drivers window re tinted though.

My drivers window squeaks on the way down but not up. Stopped doing it around last service because of rain and came back a week later as tends to be the case for me.
