  • Missing Stock Rim Centre Cap :(

    noticed the rear drivers centre cap was missing today

    plan to switch out with the spare in the boot

    anyone know the cost of replacement and best place to source one?

    Has to be VW for a new one.
    Is the spare an alloy?

        No one else is going to have them except another Polo owner.

        You could look at ebay but they will all be coming from VW if you go back far enough.

          When I had to replace one for the R it was about $20 or so!
          They are specific to the R 18s though. Hopefully the ones in the Polo are a bit more generic and therefore cheaper.

              ...speaking of it Friday I bought a bottle of VW Candy White touch up paint for the old Gti' $17.00 for a bottle about the size of my nail polish bottle...oh I mean my wifes nail polish. bottle..

                around $20-40 for a new center cap from VW. i would pay around $20 though... like Treza said.

                    I've lost all four of mine after my various track days. Went to get a price and found that there was about 4-5 different types listed for the Polo GTI.

                    Best take one with you when ordering. I was told the same price of $20 as well.
