POLO GTI Problem

Hi all,

very weird thing happened the other day, while in gear 3rd and 5th gear the car started picking up revs very quickly while accelerating but not picking up speed almost like im riding the clutch also loss in power could not get it over 180 kmh. since then the problem has not come up, car is driving perfectly now. i cannot re-create the problem, some dealerships say may b clutch other may b electronic, very weird car has 29 000 km and have booked it in next week for a checkup and service.

any ideas?

put your car in 4th and go up a slight incline at slow speed and then put your foot flat.

If it slips and revs its your clutch.

Slipping clutch. Have you had the car flashed for more power?

nop car is stock
ive tried putting it in 4th up a incline and it does not slip, it only happend like twice in one day and not again, i will try again
