My Polo GTI has finally been fixed! It no longer has the crunchy munchies when changing from 1st to 2nd. Its like driving a new car and to think that I was so close to just getting rid of it

such an easy procedure for such a great result. before, i would never have guessed that it would have been the type of oil used in the gearbox causing the crunches. my old Peugeot 206 GTi (which my sister now owns) has the same problem, i might tell her about the gearbox oil.
lucky you didn't get rid of the Polo, you would have been kicking yourself once you found out it was only the oil that needed changing......under warranty!
