Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Boost Leak, Help meeeee

    My lil 9n3 gti has recently started having a boost leak, once i reach around 2.5k rpm and it starts getting reasonable boost, the normal sssss turns into a shshshhhh and sounds really flat and looses power. I dont think its the n75, as its not an on/off/on/off whilst boosting its just a constant hiss. Checked vacuum lines to my blow off valve and nothing seems to be wrong.

    Any suggestions would be great!!

    Diverter/blow off valve stuck open?
    Otherwise, just follow the boost pipes from the turbo and check each connection one at a time until you find the bad one.
