Haha classic stories! Sounds like a few rev head girlfriends about.

My girlfriend drives very sedately in both her car and my Golf GTI. She's a good driver so I don't mind if she borrows the car and goes for a cruise. She always comes back saying how she had the sunroof open with a friend etc and how quiet it is compared to her 2003 Elantra. If I'm in the passenger seat I tell her to put the foot down occassionally - she giggles and says no at first but it doesn't take much convincing for her to floor it after that.

haha, my missus' daily drive is the FPV GT-P (375KW).

When I first got the aftermarket exhaust installed, her first comment was that it wasnt quite loud enough

How come you never refer to your car as a Falcon and leave the 375kw off?

Not having a go - just asking a genuine question.

Technically it's not a Ford Falcon?

            Make: FPV
            Model: GT-P

yes, it is a ford, an no there isnt any shame in that. I am a bit ashamed of the typical redneck that wants to slobber over it tho

Part of the reason i want to get myself something euro to replace it with (to accompany the S3)

LOL, i mention the 375KW for those fortunate enough not to have read my previous threads, and for those who have read previously, my sincerest apologies for the repetitive cliche

Mine has sheepishly admitted to enjoying the whistle of the turbo when driving the wagon around on her own.

and she is going to be doing a lot more of that soon. I have to hand my licence in tomorrow....

My Mrs has a Peugeot GTI which handles great... She really swoops into corners in that thing... She even leans like shes on a motorbike.. Its hillarious being in the car with her..

She takes my parents commodore (stock) for a drive and does her same swooping into corners... Its like a big boat, rocking all over the place..

My Mrs does not appreciate the difference in the wet and dry, she just swoops into bends in the wet no different to when its dry..

Scares the sh*t out of me as I know its like flipping a coin whether it will hold on or not..

My wife drives my Pogo very well ... apart from the braille parking.
