Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Mind giving me the Euro forum? I'll post there as well..

Thank you. Maybe Sooty can help here!?

    • One of the boys from this forum in Melbourne has it on his car, and I have seen it in person. It looks great!!
The Vaglink one is fiberglass, and not plastic. I have also been informed that it also uses different mounting clips than the standard Polo GTI front and rear bars.

I think I would much prefer PU over FG. Different mounting clips is expected, but ah well. Thanks for the heads up Blitzen. By any chance, do you know his nickname here?

        • I have been trying to think of his name, but I can't remember at this stage. Maybe one of the Vic dubbers will be able to help out??
I last saw the car in Footscray on NYE 2009.
