VW Welcome Pack

Did anyone who purchased their Polo new receive a "welcome pack" from VW?

I am told this includes a VW Assist Card, and feedback form.

Just wondering if you did/didn't receive one and if you did how long it took to arrive after purchase?

Yea I got one.
I think it took about a month to come through in the mail.

got mine last week. i was abit suss giving out my details out to them.

I didn't get one. Only get surveys posted every few months for me to do. Maybe my pack got lost by AusPost.

i got one in the mail. can't remember what was in it. but i have an assist card.

nothing jst a welcome pack no freebies... I thought they would send a VW merchandise like a keyring o cap LOL... oh well... i love my car!

Yeah I got all that in the mail a few weeks later. But from the dealer when I picked mine up, I got 2 VW keyrings and a bottle of plonk, it wasn't very good but still free

here in South Africa we dont get anything like that - but after the discount i negotiated i dont think they wanted to give me anything more without making me pay

Get straight onto VW Australia about that. I waited 9 months for them to start the process that enables me to get my Welcome Pack. Hopefully I should have it soon.
If you didn't get your Welcome Pack, it means your dealer didn't forward on your purchase information to VWA, and that your vehicle isn't covered by the roadside assist. This information was passed onto me by VW Raodside Assist when I called them about the welcome pack. Thank Christ I didn't have an issue with my car that would have left me stranded.

Yeah that's really poor form from the dealer, it's things like this that give car dealers a bad name.

I have nothing but bad stuff to say about the dealer that I got the car off...They will remain nameless, but the are in Penrith NSW, across the road from the Subaru dealer.

lol wow you really did a good job of avoiding who they might be And I've heard bad things from them also.
