Spring / shock combo - superstrut suspension cup kit... lowering height

Hi guys, I am thinking of trying this item, as it's very reasonably priced. Heard the coilovers are poor, but cup kit is actually not bad at all.

There are options:
1) 25mm all around lowering
2) 45mm front / 25mm back
3) 45mm front / 40mm back

which one should I go for? 45mm / 25mm is what I am thinking, as 25mm sounds too little...

What would you guys go for?

Also how long does it take to get new shocks / springs installed?

I heard rears are only 10 min job each side.

Fronts - springs are bitch to fit especially on driver's side. But if both shocks / springs changed, is it any easier?

I can get the suspension for $870NZ delivered inc GST.

Trying to work out the costs of the whole thing.

are those drops from standard polo ride height? or GTI ride height?

from memory the GTI is already 10mm front/15mm rear lower than standard

i would go 45/40

The drop is on top of the GTI height, not the original height.

45/40 sounds a bit low at the moment.

if its from GTI height, i would go 25 all round. because if you get scrubbing, you can't raise it like with coilovers. but then again the claimed lowering heights aren't always what you get.

Just one thing, it may say that its for a Polo GTI, but that may just mean it fits a Polo GTI. just make sure you double check that the quoted drops are from an actual GTI because if they were, it would be the first company that i know of to do so. generally with the Polo's the quoted drops are measured from a standard Polo.

if it was from a GTI, i agree that 25mm all 'round is the G-O.

The guy is a direct importer, and he can also get H&R / Eibach / KW etc.

Supersport are apparently used around for local markets in Germany. It's german made TUV approved, etc.

I am thinking of going for 25mm, but for that height, why don't I just get Eibach springs, rather than the whole kit, it's cheaper.

25mm all around would make it look nice.

I need the car to go in and out of drive ways / occasional track days (2-3 times a year).

Just don't think I can improve my track time much on a standard suspension.

I am thinking of going Eibach springs with bush kit from Shaneth (or front struts)

how about you have a think (oh....and maybe a READ) before posting and save us reading your crap.

because the Polo GTI drop is 15mm over standard already, a 25mm drop on top of that will make 40mm, more than enough IMO.
