Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)
Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:
I have got a 1.5 yaris before and with the cai around the fog light, i got 122g/s air going though, but apprantly other guys here with seat intake and K n N with chop only managed to get 133g/s (correct me if i remember wrong!)
And the yaris is not turbo charged and dun have other mods to it...
I also trying to fit or souce some sort of high flow intake system, but without sucess yet...
Just remember... a golf IV has it's intake in the same position as ours, hence there would be no direct cold air feed in it's intended application.. You would need to check the mounting points are the same
We did some testing on my old excel and found the best place to position a filter (or cold air intake) was directly behind the headlight as there is heaps of cold air available there..
Maybe it's a case of installing a shielded pod filter such as this (with foam stripping on the top to seal against the bonnet) then run ~3" flexible piping from behdin the headlight into the shielded filter enclosure. An extra hold would need to be cut into the shild in order for this to work.
