Seriously this week couldn't be any worse

Dent in the door, get rear ended by some jerk now my car is making noises...I hope I'm just being paranoid but the engine seems to be making a ticking sort of rattling noise, the rear seams to be rattling as well.
When I'm in neutral and the clutch is out there is a whirring noise, press the clutch and it stops
When changing gears there a slight rasp as you hit the bite point

Do you think a this could of been caused by the hit or have I just stalled one too many times and ****ed my car

Hey man. I get the same whirring noise with the clutch. I think this has to do with the input shaft of the gearbox sitting in the end of the crank shaft. I have been told that there is no Spigot Bearing in these cars, so this may be from where the sound is comming from. I have had the sound since the day I bought my car. I also get the ticking sound from the engine too...My just be a bit of paranoia.

yeah I did some searching and all the sound have be explained and are non issues, just being paranoid .... i think i'll calm down now

hey, atleast paranoia keeps us on our toes
