  • Dent in door

I put a dent in my own door
it's real minor but would like to get it out any suggestions?

It's a shallow dimple of dent about the size of a 20 cent coin, will take photos when I get home.

There is some dent remover that can fix small dent like that in 20 min and it cost about 200 bucks (depends on size and you visit them or they visit you).

    Where about are you located?

try buying a kit "POPS A DENT" works ok. i have them. or try heating the area, and popping it back out from the inside.

I'd go to one of those paintless dent removal guys.

I have used one in Syd for a few door dings and the results were terriffic.

Sure, it takes around 20 min depends on how bad your dent is, and after that he will wax and buff the area. And he will use a lot of mirrors to check his work as well and thats why it takes time! But the results usually great, and very difficult to spot the difference (provided that no paint was damaged).

it's barely noticeable now so pretty confident it will disappear.
They are coming around to work tomorrow they do prestige cars so my polo should be in safe hands.

ouch, sorry to hear that man.

i can only imagine that seeing a dent in your baby would be pretty disappointing. ive never had a ding in my cars- except for when i took a traffic light pole out of the ground with my vr6, lol.

Okay I'm showing great restraint here.... but some idiot rear ended my car this morning... can't see any damage, didn't feel right driving it after but that might just be me being paranoid and pissed off.... probably nothing wrong but getting it checked out in my lunch break.

The ******* laughed when I told him it was a week old.... then had a go at me when I rang him for his address as the insurance said I need to have it just in case....

I hope his ****ing sweating about it, stupid merc driver probably isn't if he can afford a merc...

He was siting behind me at lights. I crept forward a little, he decides smashing into me is the go.

I feel for you. This car is sounding like it's cursed

Hopefully not much damage was done and this will be the last time you have to deal with an inconsiderate driver
                          Cheers,

                          John
