SOMEONE BUY THESE FOR A POLO IT WILL INSTANTLY MAKE IT THE HOTTST POLO IN AUS!!!

5x100, offset might be a bit high so may have to run small spacers, also the centrebore might need 1-2mm machining (easy job for any machinist)

What is the obsession with all the wheels that look like this? They're way too common and don't even look any good.

part of it is personal preference but they're also a very good design from an engineering perspective. generally the wheel has to take a larger bending force closer to the centre, so wheels that have thick spokes (width and depth) near the centre and then taper outwards are the best designs.

I c. Is there a reason why racing wheels tend to have very thin spokes?

if you look closely, even though the spokes are thin, they are still quite deep. as i said that is to resist the second moment of area forces created from cornering. the spokes dont have to be so "wide" as such because there's so many of them; its all in the interest of increasing strength while also producing the lightest wheels possible.

They are Simmons Altas.Actually, they look like the set I had made for my STI around 5 or so years ago.Simmons didn't have any specs for the 2002 STI,so they used my car as the guinea pig.
I sold them with R compounds to someone down the South Coast.
                  Nice wheels...

Yours aren't the same... Yours do look good. The spokes are longer so the wheels look classier.

i looked at their website but couldnt find them.

they are damn nice though- i reckon the dark bronze ones would go good with the light metallic blue of my tdi.

that being said, however, im thinking of getting 16 inch versions of the steel wheels that lie under the hubcaps- my hubcaps are ripped to shreds because of wheel chains, and at the end of the day if i can put better rubber on the car, im happy with that.
