    Thinking of selling

    Been THINKING about selling my polo for a little while.

    It seriously just sits in my garage. I roll it out once a week and i wash it, polish it then put it back in the garage.
    Im working much longer hours at Audi now and as a result i never get time to drive it.

    It was first registered in november 06 and has only done 13,500 thousand kms.

    What do you think would be a reasonable amount to try sell it privately for?

    There's at least one guy looking to buy in the FS section. Maybe talk to him and see what the market's willing to pay .

      When I was looking they were going for around $23-24k mark for stock with leather, but thats in melbourne

        I'd say put it down for around 21 to 21500 and you should be able to sell it within a month without too much trouble...

        Most polo prices are quite badly inflated anyway, with a number of used vehicles costing as much or more than the drive away price...

            It's Candy white with tinted windows and high gloss black B pillars.

                Well i currently drive a little emerald green laser 1992 ! carby 1.6 !
                Surprisingly its a fantastic little car.

                My plan would be sell the polo and the laser and just buy a 4-5 grand car.

                Everyone is different, the way i get enjoyment out of my car is not entirely by driving it. But being able to walk out into the garage and see it nice and shiny. Thats why its lucky to get driven once a week.

                  Are you going to sell it with all the mods? which state you in? might have someone thats interested

                    Unless the mods were not wanted by the new owner then id sell it as is.

                    Im quite impulsive, so if i get a good price ill sell it. If i dont get offered a decent amount ill stick it on carsales.
