Was sitting in my car this morning at Canberra airport and had this Astra race in beside me. Next thing you know, driver hops out and "WHACK!", his door slams into my car. Good f@cking hit.....

He blamed the windy weather.... FML!

Thanks guys! Yep, his insurance will cover it all. Just hate the fact I try to park 'defensively' all the time and watch people like a hawk due such inconsiderate sods! [emoji51]

Given how much dismantling was involved along with not all panels painted on the drivers side, I got some "ELBOW GREASE" from SuperCheap Auto and ended up with this finish. Car stays intact now and no difference in paint thickness which I look for when buying a car.....

Thanks Daniel! A home/DIY fix. Slight use of low grit sandpaper then polish and wax.

Given the car was going to be pulled apart a fair bit to be fixed and of course painted, I'm happy to keep her as original as possible.
