Polo 6C licence plate LED lights

Hi all,

I'm looking to replace the stock lights just above the licence plate to LED on my Polo 6C GTI.

Having looked around on various places, including eBay and Aliexpress, I'm aware the easiest would be to replace the two casings altogether, although there seems to be some differing information on which would be the most suitable and to not result in an error.

Does anyone here have experience with fitting these in on the Polo 6C, and if so, which one would be guaranteed to work out of the box?

I'm pretty sure the luxury pack on the 6C GTI gives you led license plate lights. So there's most likely an official VW part you can get to upgrade them.

Are they the same hole and plug as the 6R?
If so then 1K8 943 021C
Had these on my 6r and they where error free. Nice a bright.

Yes this is the case, LED lights all round apart from he interior lights and the fog lights.

Kufatec sell them separately. You might be able to pick them up through a dealership also.
