Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Bull X Downpipe for Polo GTI 6C

    Hi All,

    If any of you have been looking at the HG Motorsport website and considering their well priced and good looking down pipe I can assure you that it is not suitable for a RHD Polo.

    The cat tubs against the steering column and does not allow the V Band to clamp to the turbo flange.

    There is also an "official" importer of these products for South Africa (RH drivers) who will tell you it will fit. He's very convincing.

    If you are still not convinced I can get you a good price on a local one

      It sure does, they are giving me a refund, but posting back at own expense. Plus the postage here... and paying 2 hours labour trying to fit it.
