2013 POLO GTI 6R Brake Disc Size/spec

Hello guys

I have 2013 vw polo gti 6r. I am looking for buying new front brake disc. I've been searching real size of oem part, couldn't find it

from the other threads, I found DBA802 which is 288mm. but someone says it is 312mm which is expensive...

Any opinion/recommendation would be appreciated

I no longer have my GTI (so this is opinion, not fact) but id say they were 288 as 312 is quite large for such a small car, but you can easily measure your disk I would think...

There's a number of VIN number splits in the Polo. I was in Brakes Direct yesterday and it was one of the things that came up in conversation. If you call them with your VIN number, they can check and tell you which it has.

I think the std ones are 288 from a quick look on here. Volkswagen - PO - 2013 6R-D-000 001 >> - Wheels, Brakes Teile Katalog (Pats Catalog)

Just did mine last week according to VIN number the front rotors are 310mm however DBA4838 and DBA4838s fit (they are 312mm). I got the DBA4838s which is T3 slotted rotor for just under $400 for the pair (from Brakes Direct/GSL Rallye Sport). You can get the Bosch OEM alternative (from sparesbox.com.au) which are 310mm but cost around $480 for the pair from memory).

The DBA T3 rotors look awesome however and are painted black on all the non friction surfaces Bosch rotors are also painted but in silver.

Sure does, to my bank account and my surprise... It was explained to me in the MY13 models onward the front rotors were upgraded from 256 to 288 and rears stayed the same at 230 something, I'm thinking 232?

I hear you regarding the warping, I know the 77 is a hundred odd kg lighter, but the warping was ridiculous!
