  • Thinking of selling my 17" Parabolica Wheels on 2015 Polo GTI 6C

    Hey guys,

I am considering selling my factory 17" Parabolica wheels from my 2015 Polo GTI 6C, but have no idea what a fair price for them would be or if anyone would be interested. Have had the wheels and car for exactly 1 year since brand new.

Any advice or opinion would be greatly appreciated.

    Scuff marks or not? Condition?
I'd say brand new condition no tyres $600-800 and with decent tyres $700-$1000. Tyres are pretty important.

I'd by two as spares haha they're hard to find. I think dealers charge $400+ a wheel and there's none on ebay or gumtree.

I'd buy the other 2 as I just slightly damaged one of mine

I buy 2nd hand wheels with tyres whenever I need tyres. For 5x112 Golf / Audi wheels I haven't paid more than $400 a set so far. That is unmarked factory alloys and quality, brand name tyres with a minimum 6mm of tread. I usually sell the rims when the tyres are at 2.5mm (still unmarked) for $150-$180. That's regardless of diameter. I've bought 16s, 17s & 18s.

Maybe it's different on a Polo?

Unless you have an immediate need for the $600 to $800 you will get for them, keep them (subject to storage space), when you sell the Polo refit the std. wheels and flog off the aftermarket wheels.

I'd buy two if you'd split them

What's the tyre size on them? I'd be interested.
