When I plug my android in, it will attempt too connect and if it fails it goes to mirror link.

It's extremely frustrating as i use android auto only. The settings are set to Android auto ad default as well. Sometimes it just connects to mirror link without even trying android auto.

Another thing, I have to disconnect from mirror link and keep trying till it gets to Android auto. While driving this becomes a little dangerous.

Mirrorlink itself is crap, the apps are useless and outdated.

Anyone else had these problems?

I have the exact same problem with my 2016 Polo Gti. I only use Android Auto but it takes usually about 4-5 times of reconnecting before it actually works. Have tried experimenting with a few things but can't seem to figure out why this happens.

Glad I'm not the only one. Sometimes I give up and just use my phone normally. I just think it's a software issue. Piss off mirror link and everything might work.
