Maxium Capacity of Memory (SD) card

Hi All,

just wondering what is the maximum capacity of the SD card that the multimedia system can take in the MY16 Polo GTi?

Also, has anyone experienced any issues with particular brands that just wouldn't be recognized by the system?

the nav sd is 32gb sdhc and use good quality. it may state in your owners manual how much it can take?

Different systems but my 2015 Polo 81 TSI accepts a 64gb SD card without issue. It's a kogan branded one too.

My16 Golf accepts 64gb. You won't go wrong with SanDisk Extreme, don't buy retail, best deals available on eBay.

You must have got lucky, the only place on line I would buy a card is directly off Amazon itself
At least 90% of Ebay ones are doctored fakes.
Been there done that Once Same with Gumtree.
My 128Gb San Disk Ultra on Amazon cost $93 and is absolutely genuine.

I agree, buyer be where, but there are good Australian sellers with genuine products. I wouldn't buy from an OS seller who has a "to good to be true deal". Always look for genuine packaging and check the feedback, there are 64gb SanDisk cards available for about $55 on eBay.

Run the program mentioned in the link just to make sure Not all fakes are cheap.

That test program finds them every time Takes an hour or so but works
