Polo GTI RPM at 100kph?

Could anyone advise approx rpm at 100kph in 6th gear (manual)?

Also thoughts on the GTI for a return daily 150km commute (approx 125km of this is freeway/100kph).

Polo GTI RPM at 100kph?

From memory, 2500rpm in 6th. You'll get around 6.3L/100km fuel consumption.

I regularly do a Newcastle->Sydney->Newcastle day trip. It's a great car on the freeway albeit its talents are wasted on the dual carriageway. It's far more at home in the city and on twisty roads.

It's a very fun car and you'll soon come to love your time in it, whilst it's a whole lot more fun in twisties, it's still very powerful so every traffic light and overtake is a new opportunity to lose your license.

Polo 6C is only about a year old, so probably won't be updated for a while. Mk7 is getting a facelift this year.
