  • New Polo GTI Best Deals in VIC

    Hi Guys,

Have been hunting around for a Mk V Gti for a little while but given the age of the vehicle i'm getting screwed on the finance. I'm thinking a new Polo GTI might be a better option, better performance, more features and warranty. If buying a new car interest rates are much more competitive and resale should be better also.

Just wondering what an achievable price would be on a 2015 plated Polo GTI in VIC, I see them advertised between 27-32K based on options is it possible to negotiate further discounts off these prices?

Any advise on this car v older Gold GTI would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Mike

I got mine for about 37k with all the option packs on it. I also traded in my old car for 5k as well so it dropped the price down to 32k. Albeit, my car was a showroom car but there was no damage to the car.

This was at the berwick dealer. If you do decide to go, I suggest you ask for Mo.

Just a heads up that the Berwick VW service team are... Difficult to deal with, to say the absolute least. Never had a worse experience with servicing than at Berwick VW.
Their sales team is nice enough however.

Raymond at Bayford Camberwell is absolutely fantastic to deal with and the service team are also just as good! Raymond really took care of me in every way possible even after my car got delivered! I highly recommend going to see him

Had great service from Josh at Waverley VW. Good price and after sales service with questions etc. Service department was also very helpful with a minor problem (brake squeal at low speed).

Be interested in what the extended warranty does cover / not cover?

I tested the 2016 Suzuki Swift Sport(100kw) and it was sluggish and had very basic technology inside. That was $26,500 on road (rrp)

The Polo is the best purchase i've made! the technology, build quality, fast engine and gadgets have all blown me away.

Personally, i prefer this to the GTI - not because its $15k more expensive but its like driving a track car, its light and can be thrown around everywhere.

I didn't look at the mini - stay clear of BMW. I know mechanics that work there and the cars always have problems.
