Oil filters for my15 GTI

Hey guys,

Just going to do an oil change on my GTI and I was wondering what oil filter I should use or is any brand good enough? This is my first time doing an oil change so size and brands would be nice if you guys have any experience.

Can't go wrong with genuine.

They're not that dear from memory.

Otherwise, Hengst or Mahle are decent. Can get them from specialist European suppliers like Imparts, HSY and Tooley Imports.

Also MANN, UFI and Wix are all good filters too. I've found micksgarage (google them) to have good prices, but shipping ($20) is expensive if you're only getting a ~$10 oil filter. You can at least use their parts finder to see all the available filters for your car, then buy them elsewhere.
