Hey lads just a quick questions about warranty, so lately I've notice fluid leaking from my mechatronics so drove down to the Vw dealer to have it checked out. A few months back I had to have my clutch replaced due to the known problem the 6r gti's have ( everything fixed free under warranty ) and today they assured me the mechatronics was not touched in replacing the clutch ( although marks show other wise)
Long story short they says it's gonna cost about $4000 to replace and with my warranty expiring a month ago I was ****ing my pants!!! They said they are going to push for it to be fixed under warranty as a sign of good will So it's a big relief.
My question is I currently have a tune so if they run a diagnostic will it pick it up ?
And if so will my tune void the warranty even though I don't think it has anything to do with my mechatronics leaking.
