Lots of different brands apparently. Newer types have ballasts already built-in so it is an all-in-one unit. Youtube has a few videos showing installation. Not sure if they are legal in Aus though.

These say they are ADR compliant (but to check state regs) Not sure how plug and play they are for the Polo GTI as it has standard H7 bulbs that slot in to a caddy. The caddy then twists into the fitting.

Could be a problem as the LED bulbs that I have seen on youtube so far have a huge cooling fan mounted on the back of them with a tail for power connection. Also there were comments about halogen reflectors being unsuitable for LED lights but I think projector headlights are ok.

Really like those led headlights, but still not sure if it's worth 3300$ (AUS) (in my country)

Any canbus issues with these? I fitted led's as replacements for my driving / fog lights and i ended up with an error light up.
