Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Be interesting to hear the amount of kms on your cars when the dealer handed over the keys.

    My MY16 GTI was sitting there today with 17kms on her, yet to be prepped for sale.

    What's 'normal'?

      All my VW's have been around 30kms and our new discovery sport had 22

        Our R Line Golf had 11 km when we collected her. Best ever for me.

            Interestingly, my Mk6 Golf GTI was a demo with only 70kms on her.

            They only other truly 'new' car was a Pug 206 GTi180, delivered in 2005 with just over 40kms.

              When I collected my new Polo in April it had 12km on her.

                Keep in mind that up to the first 99km (something like that) you can reset the odometer back to zero once.

                          There's a drop down in VCDS.

                          I haven't done it, just noticed it one day.
