  • How long to Wait ?

    Hi

I am looking at purchasing a 2015 Polo GTi DSG with Driver Assistance Package. What sort of wait are people having from paying deposit/ ordering to their car arriving at the dealership ?

Also with with the Sport Select Suspension is there a Sport Button on the dash, I've tried to find photos of it but cannot find any.

Nice work by you! Must've been sitting in the country already or, close by on a ship just looking to be bought. [emoji106][emoji12]

I ordered my MY16 on the last week of July and picked it up on 3 August. Think I got a bit lucky!

                Thanks guys.

Just out of interest I am looking at a DSG with Driver Assistance Pack. Would these particular ones be in high demand or are other specifications ?? Manual

Firstly I would to say that if I had bought a MY15 model after VW said there was to be NO adaptive suspension for Australian models then two months later hey whammo yes there is plus a few other goodies "for free' I would have been really pissed off!!. I have a MY10 GTI Polo and the suspension has always been jarring but now with neck getting worse I thought great I could buy MY16 set on comfort zone and I would be happy. I have rang around and there are not too many available for a test drive but a salesman said that is NOT the same as a golf where you can select between 3 or so setting rather with the Polo you can only select from normal (which is slightly less jarring then my own model) to a HARSHER sport mode Is this true?? If so VW have Fu@#%& it AGAIN!! Why can they not have it the same as the Golf GTI oh no they wouldn`t think of that!! Really pissed off now will have to look at something else, Golf GTI out of my price range. Not sure I want to keep mine and spend thousands on changing suspension to less jarring.

You will spent more money upgrading to a new car than spending some $$$ on replacing the shocks with something like the Koni FSD.

The only comfortable hot hatches are the Clio RS200 and the 208GTI. I have the 208 and the suspension is much more comfortable than the Polo (or Fiesta)

thanks for reply. I gather you also have a VW?. I thought the Clio was harsh too I have not had a chance to drive. The 208 been a good car? Service costs dearer then VW? Any other plus of negatives about the other two you mentioned compared to VW? I can`t even believe I was even interested in another polo after all the **** VW put me through to get my motor replaced (oil eater) but the adaptive suspension caught my attention so now they have done it again with me . I have a 5 year old car with a somewhat new motor (approx 20,000kms) with all warranty finishing this Chissy what to do, what to do??? Service costs are over the top with VW though. If kia had a small hot hatch I would have one tomorrow for the 7 years warranty alone.

Read about Clio RS 200 at ozrenaultsport.com
Clio 220 RS coming out soon as well
I wanted the user configurable Adaptive suspension but couldn't go the price increase to a Golf GTI so settled for the Polo GTI instead. I nearly bought a MT15 but decided to wait to see whether the Adaptive suspension would be made available as an option in MY16 models.
It's a shame that LED headlights are not available as a separate option instead of being bundled with the Lux Pack.
Anyone investigate fitting LED headlight conversion kits?

I suppose it depends on the options and colour that you have specified in your order. I ordered my manual MY16 in white with DAP early August and got it in the first week of October...earlier than the dealer's estimate which was late October.
